Meerhout, Belgium

The rest of my time in Berlin was excellent. I caught a free tour and saw:
-the Bradenburg Gate
-the Holocaust memorial
-the parking lot that now covers the ground where Hitler’s suicide bunker is
-Checkpoint Charlie which is really just an obnoxious tourist trap
-the US embassy designed by Frank Gehry. Basically you could fire a torpedo at it and it would be fine it’s so reinforced.
-Hot water music, Chuck Ragan, the Menzingers and several other excellent musical acts.
-the hotel where Michael Jackson held his baby out the window.
-the building that housed the Nazi air force then the communist party of GDR
-hmmmm other things.

Basically it was an awesome quick tour.

Now I’m going to enjoy Groezrock!
